Dr. Henderson believes it is very important to educate her patients on the value of their oral health and to make connections for them between dentistry and an individual’s overall well-being. She values her colleagues at Town Dental Group because she knows how important teamwork is to creating an atmosphere where patients feel cared for by experts in their profession.
She is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine. She also elected to continue her education at the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and its Advanced Education in General Dentistry post-doctoral residency program, where she gained extensive experience in removable and fixed prosthodontics, oral surgery, endodontics, implant dentistry and periodontics.
Dr. Henderson enjoys improving the oral health of the community through outreach programs, such as Mission of Mercy and Dental Access Day. It is important to her to stay up-to-date in the newest research and build upon her skills through continuing education programs, including Invisalign, implant dentistry and oral pathology. In her leisure time, she loves spending time with friends and family, hiking and exploring our national parks.
Dr. Sadie Tallbacka is a passionate and patient centered Dentist proudly serving the Mint Hill community. As a third-generation Dentist, Dr.Tallbacka was raised by her family who had a strong appreciation for the impact that compassionate dental care can have on a person’s overall health, wellbeing and confidence. Her dedication for precision and passion for excellence was further developed in adolescence, resulting her to be personally selected to perform at Carnegie Hall.
As a Florida native, she earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida and moved to Charlotte after falling in love with the Carolinas. Outside of the office, Dr. Sadie Tallbacka enjoys finding meaningful ways to give back to the community she is proud to serve. She loves staying physically active with Pilates, exploring new coffee shops, as well as local breweries, and baking for her friends and family. Dr.Tallbacka also loves spending time with her energetic Vizsla puppy, who keeps her on her toes and always entertained.
Dr.Sadie Tallbacka takes a preventive, personalized approach to dentistry, aiming to build long-term relationships with her patients while supporting them, and their health; every step of the way. Dr. Tallbacka is excited to join the team of experts here at Town Dental Group; as it allows her to passionately and proudly serve the Mint Hill community.
